I've been sailing since I was a kid and I've always had two passions: speed and technology. Foilia started as my Design degree thesis at Sapienza University of Rome; today my goal is to make it fly.

To me, designing is a bit like dreaming, and building is making the dream come true. The biggest challenge of this project has been inventing technologies different from those on the real boats, to get the same result at scale.

I design, build and test every part, one step at a time. With friends we started organising events, “La Cantina della Foilia”, to fund the project and give it visibility.

The next goal is bringing Foilia to the America's Cup in Naples 2027, together with whoever wants to come aboard. The dream? Bringing America's Cup racing back close to the shore, where everyone can watch.

I'm looking for crewmates who believe in the same idea.
